Casey Hoffman is a lifelong resident of Menominee who is a Gay man. A Republican. A Legal Research Lawyer, substitute teacher at Menominee High School, and happens to be running for the City of Menominee Mayoral seat. Hoffman says, “I’m running for all the right reasons. I think we have a number of issues that we need to address right now, immediately.”
Hoffman says, “just to be painfully clear, if we stay on this current trajectory of not funding the Spies Public Library and only surviving on donations, the Spies Public Library will be open for about 10 years.
Hoffman goes on to say that this is a job that you do because you really believe in your city, you really believe in public service, and darnnit that’s why I’m in it! The other candidates running are current Mayor Jean Stegman and Beth Peanosky. Michigan primary’s take place August 8th.
