Law Enforcement seeking video footage of traffic fatality in Powers

On Tuesday, May 16^th at 11:58am, Deputies from the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to U.S. 2 and 41 in the Village of Powers, Michigan, for a traffic fatality involving a single vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle, Joshua M. Hardin, 32, of Plymouth, Wisconsin, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The next of kin has been notified. The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by personnel from Hannahville Tribal Police Department, Michigan State Police – Iron Mountain Post, City of Menominee Police Department, Hermansville Rescue Squad, and Menominee County 911. This incident remains under investigation. Witnesses with information related to this traffic fatality, including businesses that may have video footage of the roadway incident are encouraged to contact the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office at 906-863-4441.
