Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s NTC Fishing Tournament in Final Day

Today (Saturday) is the final day of the Bass Pro Shops / Cabela’s National Team Championship fishing tournament.  The event is hosted by the city of Marinette, with walleye fishing on the Bay of Green Bay. After two days of fishing, the team of Scott Rohloff of Watertown Wisconsin and Lance Busse of Freedom, Wisconsin continue to top the leader board with 10 fish weighing a total of 73 pounds 5 ounces.  277 teams entered the tournament, but only the top 25 teams are fishing in today’s finals.  The final weigh-in will be at 3pm today at Menekaunee Harbor The first place prize is $114,995.00  consisting of 25.000 in cash, PLUS Ranger 620 Boat, 250 HP Mercury Motor valued at near 80,000.  Overall, more than  275,000 dollars in total cash, awards and event prizes are up for grabs.
