The Railroad Crossing on 13th St at 18th Ave in the City of Menominee will be closed all day on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 starting at 6:00 am for repairs. Detours will be in place. Please use caution when traveling through the area.
The Wisconsin Department of transportation reports as part of the Highway 64 resurfacing project, starting Wednesday June 7th through June 30th, the highway will be closed and detoured to complete the cross culverts between the intersections of County E and Highway 180. The detour will use Highway 180, County G, and County E. The 7.76 million dollar project is to resurface 17.3 miles of Highway 64 from Highway 180 to Highway 141. The project should be completed in September.
Also Maintenance crews will be performing railroad crossing work on the northbound and southbound US 141 railroad crossing near WIS 64, daily, Tuesday, June 6 through Thursday, June 15 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Various lanes will be closed during repairs.
