On Tuesday, June 27th, upon following his arrest in Menominee, 25-year-old Robert Lee Reynolds of Ironwood, Michigan was arraigned before the Honorable Robert J. Jamo in the 95 – A District Court. Menominee County Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey Rogg charged Reynolds in a five count Felony Complaint alleging Receiving and Concealing a Stolen Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, two counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition, and Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer. The offenses carry possible sentences of p to 10 years in prison. According to court documents and information presented in open court, the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance in locating Reynolds, who was in violation of bond conditions in the Gogebic County Court. The Menominee Police Department (MPD) located him at the Hay Creek Townhomes. Before Reynolds could be detained, he ran into a Townhouse, where an 11-month-old baby had been left. Multiple officers from several jurisdictions, including Marinette were immediately dispatched to the scene. Police spoke with the defendant who eventually surrendered without incident. A Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for July 6th and a Prelimiinary Examination on July 26th. Bond was established by Judge Jamo in the amount of $100,000, cash/surety.
