Norway police say a 13 year old male juvenile runaway was located after a search Saturday morning. The juvenile was reported missing after failing to return home from school Friday afternoon. He was seen walking along US 2, but ran into the woods when his guardian attempted to pick him up. A search was begun Friday evening with a number of law enforcement units and volunteers assisting, including a thermal drone from Marinette County. The search reconvened Saturday morning with several search and rescue teams with drone technology, K9 units from Menominee County and the State Police, and an estimated 300 volunteers. The juvenile was located around 11am after a private drone operator observed him while driving near St. Barbara’s Church in the Vulcan area. The juvenile was turned over to his family and the North Alert Ambulance in good condition.
