The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region announces the completion of all major construction on 3.7 miles of US 141 from County Road Z to County Road R in the towns of Beecher and Pembine. Work on the $2.35 million project began July 31, 2023, and finished on time and on budget. This was a resurfacing-level project that included milling 3.5 inches of the existing asphaltic lanes and resurfacing with 4.25 inches, installing centerline rumble strips, paved shoulders and adding gravel to existing shoulders, curb ramp improvements, and pavement marking.
