Pickleball is growing in the Cities of Marinette and Menominee and a non-profit organization hopes to secure funds to create a dedicated outdoor pickleball space at the civic center. Marinette Menominee Area Pickleball Inc. President Brian Swenson says, “we want you to understand we are not done fundraising. We are through phase four.”

Swenson says, “we are not done fundraising, and we have some people who want to step up and do a phase five.”

The organization’s goal is to have the project wrapped up in the Spring of 2024 to hit the courts that summer.
