Alderperson Debbie Klegin formally launched her re-election campaign on Friday, February 29th, 2024. While candidates often hold evets to launch a kick-off, Klegin chose to do so in a quieter way, reaching out to the people. Klegin says, “the primary reason I am running for council would be to continue my involvement in the current improvements and advancements that the city is making, at this time. I’m glass half full kind of person, I support our mayor, and I see wonderful things happening in the city.”
Klegin says, “well…I just think the residents in the City of Marinette need to take time to study their candidates and take time to go vote.”
As a fifth generation Marinette Resident, Ward 6 Alderperson Debbie Klegin also serves on public safety, parks and rec, and the Chairperson for Civic Affairs cemetery and traffic. She is also a wife, mother, grandmother, and someone who loves where she lives, works, and plays.
