Carney Avenue Road Closure

Sewer construction will take place in the alley between Armstrong Street and Oakes Street, from Sherman Street to Georgia Street. Preliminary work has already started. The overall project I planned to be completed within seven-weeks. The sewer work will impact traffic on Carney Avenue. Currently, both lanes of Carney Avenue between Armstrong Street and Oakes Street are closed to through traffic. A detour route has been posted to direct traffic around the construction site. We ask motorists to use caution and reduce speed when traveling the detour route. The alley will have limited access for the duration of the project.
