💧 Water Temps: River systems are warming steadily—most are in the high 60s, with the Menominee River bumping 70 yesterday. We’re seeing the shift into early summer conditions.
🎯 Fishing Report:
- Crappie & Walleye are still putting up numbers—focus on structure and shallow transitions.
- Bluegill & Largemouth are in tight and feeding heavy in the shallows.
- Smallmouth Bass activity has been solid with fish on beds and near rock breaks.
- Yellow Perch bite is quiet for now—expected until weed lines develop.
- Lake Michigan Trout & Salmon reports are strong—big fish and fast limits.
- Inland Trout fly bite is heating up with hatch activity picking up.
🍄 Morels: Still going strong. Some pickers are pulling bags down in Sheboygan County. North continues to produce.
🦃 Michigan Turkey Season: Birds are tight-lipped and thick cover isn’t helping. Best chance now is food-source setups and maybe a little luck. Bring bug spray.
