Sheriff Randy Miller reports that at 4:46 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, Marinette County Dispatch received a report of a single UTV crash that happened off  Hobart Lane in the Town of Niagara. The investigation shows that a UTV operated by Gabriel N. Avila-Neuheisel, age 18, of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, was traveling down a dirt trail on private property when he lost control and rolled over. The UTV ejected Avila-Neuheisel, who was not wearing a helmet or seatbelt, and he sustained fatal injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Also assisting at the scene were members of the Niagara Police Department, Niagara Fire Department, Niagara Rescue, and Integrity Care EMS.
