At approximately 12:50 am, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Dispatch Center was notified of an incident involving a firearm in the area of the 11,000 Block of Tom Post Road, in the Town of Brazeau.  A preliminary investigation revealed a disturbance had occurred between several people at the residence. The suspect, a 39-year-old male from Pound, WI pointed a firearm at the victim, a 48-year-old male, also from Pound, WI and shot him in the leg. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Oconto County Jail. The victim was transported to a hospital in Green Bay for treatment of the injury. The incident remains under investigation.
