Since 1994, the Meet the Fleet event has turned into a real family event. The M and M Yacht Club members enjoy sharing their love of the water and hopes to put the wind at your back during a free boat ride this Saturday in Menominee. Rick Estebo past commodore and board member says, “we invite the public to come down and we give you a boat ride. In the beginning it was only in sailboats, now we have powerboats and sailboats. What’s interesting to me is that most of the people have not been on a boat. Or have never been on the waters in front of Menominee.”

One-hour leisurely boat rides are available this Saturday, June 21st courtesy of the yacht club members. Arrive 15 to 30 minutes early at the Yacht Club. Life jackets are available for adults up to 250 pounds or bring your own. The Meet the Fleet event is for ages five and older.
