Menominee County Sheriff Darrin Kudwa reports that on Monday the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a serious four-vehicle traffic crash on Highway M-35 near Kleinke Park. The crash occurred at approximately 4:03 PM, prompting a full closure of the highway while emergency crews worked to assist the injured and investigate the scene.
Due to the severity of the incident, one individual was airlifted from the scene by Guardian Flight helicopter for advanced medical treatment. Additional vehicle occupants sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals for evaluation. An accident investigator was called to the scene to reconstruct the crash and determine the circumstances leading up to the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
