Here’s what’s biting:
• Panfish are hugging 6–10 ft weedlines, especially near shade and current seams.
• Green Bay perch are thriving in the 18–30 ft range with improving weed structure.
• Largemouth are cruising shallow weedlines; smallmouth are keyed in on rocky points and heavy structure, riding just above the walleye lines.
• Walleye remain steady, feeding in 6–12 ft along breaklines and current seams.
• Musky and pike are attacking moving baits in the weeds—dawn and dusk remain prime.
• Inland trout are turning on again—look to shaded bends and cold spring-fed creeks.
• Channel cats are putting up big fights in Green Bay tributaries. It’s prime time for 10–12 lb fish if you want a serious tug.
