Update:Henes Park beach reopened yesterday (7/27) after being closed Friday and Saturday,  Testing by the Health Department Friday showed excessive levels of e-coli.  After further testing, the Health Department allowed  the beach to reopen Sunday.

 

 

The Beach at Henes Park in Menominee is temporarily closed until further notice due to high levels of bacteria (E. coli) in the water, according to Public Health Department, during routine testing. Swimming will not be allowed until testing shows that the levels are safe for swimming.  Another sampling is expected Saturday (7/26).
