The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed three tornadoes in the area from Wednesday night’s storms. An EF1 tornado near Keshena in Menominee County, Wisconsin touched down at 5:15 p.m.with peak winds of 90 mph and traveled a path of 7.4 miles. Another EF1 tornado was confirmed near Gillett, with peak winds of 95 mph and a track length of 2.3 miles. The tornado struck Gillett at 5:37 p.m. CDT. The roofs of two buildings were damaged. An EF0 tornado was reported near Oconto, with winds reaching 77 mph and a path of 2.4 miles. The tornado touched down west of Oconto at 6:00 p.m. The NWS is still assessing the situation near Lena, where a tornado was reported, but where no damage has been found.
