Last week between Wells Street and Pierce Ave./Wisconsin St. the contractor completed roadway excavation, installed underground conduit for lighting, installed curb and gutter, and began concrete pavement for the roadway. The contractor began installation of the new sanitary sewer starting near Hall Ave. and working towards the east.

This week, the contractor will be working on the following:

• Early Week
  • Continue Sanitary sewer installation between Hall Ave and Pierce Ave/Wisconsin St
  • Pour concrete roadway between Wells Street and Pierce Ave/Wisconsin St.
• End of Week
  • Watermain installation between Wells Street and Pierce Ave/Wisconsin St.

Once the pavement is installed early this week, the roadway between Wells Street and Pierce Ave/Wisconsin St will likely sit idle the remainder of the week while the concrete is curing to reach adequate strength for construction traffic.
