The Menekaunee Boat Launch in Marinette will be closed from 5 p.m. Wednesday through 7 p.m. Saturday to accommodate the Cabela’s Bass Pro Shops National Walleye Tour Championship.

The city’s other boat launches will remain open to the public during this time. These include, the Sixth Street Slip, Boom Landing, Stephenson Island and Red Arrow Park. For more details on city boat launches, people can visit the city’s website, https://www.marinette.wi.us/407/Boat-Launches.

The harbor itself will remain open to spectators, but the boat launch must be closed due to safety precautions, according to Mayor Steve Genisot.
