Crews have completed installation of the new water main and storm sewer between Pierce Avenue, Wisconsin Street, and Hall Avenue. Looking ahead to next week, contractors will be connecting water services, sanitary laterals, and storm sewer laterals in the same area. Today, work crews plan to install concrete bases for light poles between Wells Street and Pierce Avenue, along with adjustments to traffic signals. By mid-week, sidewalk installation will begin between Wells Street and Pierce Avenue. Residents should know that there will be a brief water service outage when they connect to the new pipeline. Affected users will be notified ahead of time.
