Last week, contractors installed concrete bases for light poles and began pouring sidewalks between Wells Street and Pierce Avenue. They also worked on sanitary laterals and water service connections between Hall Avenue and Pierce Avenue. This week, work is focused on completing water, sanitary, and storm sewer laterals in that same stretch, along with final connections to the new water main. Sidewalk installation will also continue between Wells Street and Pierce Avenue. Residents should be aware there will be short water service outages when crews make those final connections. Affected property owners will be notified in advance. City officials thank the public for their patience as this project moves forward.
