Peshtigo is gearing up to honor its history with the annual Peshtigo Historical Day — set for tomorrow, Saturday, September 27th at Badger Park. The event commemorates the Great Peshtigo Fire of October 8th, 1871, and has become a day full of family fun.

Committee member and Car Show Chairperson and Committee Member Steve Kaempf says this year he’s looking forward to another successful car show.

The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m., followed by the popular car show at Peshtigo Grade School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants are invited to join the parade lineup as well.

Activities at Badger Park begin at noon, with a petting zoo added to the schedule. The day wraps up with a fireworks show at 8 p.m. and continued music until 10pm. Organizers say it’s a great chance to celebrate history, enjoy community traditions, and have fun for all ages.
