An international consultant turned “aging rebel” will be in Menominee Monday morning to share her story and insights on democracy and life after midlife. Jennifer L. Butz, founder of WonderCrone and author of the new book “Rebel Aging: Wisdom, Wonder, and a Few Shenanigans,” believes the third chapter of life is where the magic really happens. Butz has spent much of her career working around the world promoting democratic principles and economic stability — experiences she weaves into her writing and her public talks. She’ll present her views and take questions this morning at the Spies Public Library’s upstairs meeting room. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with the presentation starting at 9:45. The event is free to the public; no fee or donation is required. Organizers call it a rare chance to hear from someone who’s dedicated her life to strengthening democracy worldwide.
