The Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office confirms it’s investigating a workplace death at Johnson Controls in Marinette. A company spokesperson says one of their employees died Monday following an accident at the Industrial Parkway facility.

“We are deeply saddened that one of our colleagues passed away as the result of an accident. We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and coworkers of our teammate.”

The company says an investigation is underway and that it’s fully cooperating with authorities while offering support to those affected. Johnson Controls manufactures HVAC systems, fire suppression, and security technology. The company operates multiple facilities in Wisconsin and across the U.S.
