The Marinette County District Attorney’s Office is welcoming a new face — and a familiar one — as former Circuit Court Judge Jane Sequin joins the team as an Assistant District Attorney. District Attorney DeShea Morrow announced the appointment this week, saying Sequin will fill a newly created half-time Assistant District Attorney position funded through the 2025–2027 State Budget. In her new role, Sequin will focus on general criminal referrals and motion practice. Morrow says, “Attorney Jane Sequin brings a wealth of experience both as a litigator and as a fact-finder. She’s highly respected for her legal knowledge and her standard of excellence, and she’ll continue to serve the citizens of Marinette County well in this new role.” Sequin was first elected as Marinette County Circuit Court Judge for Branch 1 in April 2020, serving on the bench from August 2020 through July 2024.
