Weather Kid of the Day – Ruger Dlugus!

Today’s Weather Kid was Ruger Dlugus, a 7-year-old from Marinette Intermediate School! Ruger was thrilled to sneak out of school for a bit to stop by and give us the weather report — and he nailed it!

After his forecast, Ruger jumped right into talking all things Detroit Lions with Eric in the studio. Let’s just say there was plenty of roaring enthusiasm to go around!

Ruger also shared that he loves baseball, fishing,  flying airplanes and will get to go hunting for the first time at camp this year — how cool is that?  And when he grows up, he wants to be a police officer, so maybe one day he can help Stephanie out with Shop With a Cop!

Even though the forecast was partly cloudy, Ruger’s bright personality outshined everything.  We think even the Lions could use that kind of confidence on game day!
