The event will take place tonight at the Bayshore Arts Center (Formerly Theater on the Bay) in Marinette.
The event includes a lineup of local panelists, a 45-minute documentary, light refreshments and door prize giveaways.
The Communities that Care will screen a documentary “Johnny’s Ambassadors,” Cannabis- Induced Psychosis: A Silent Epidemic, which shines a light on the growing crisis of high-potency THC and its impact on youth mental health. Following the 45-minute screening, a panel of local law enforcement and agency representatives will discuss marijuana- related issues in Marinette and Menominee counties and share local prevention and education efforts. A brief Q&A session will conclude the evening.
This event is recommended for parents, caregivers, community members, and youth ages 13+ (accompanied by a parent or guardian). This event is sponsored by Communities That Care of Marinette and Menominee Counties and funded through the Provident Health Foundation.
