Governor Whitmer has signed several bills as the year winds down. Some of the bills include preventing bots from buying large numbers of tickets to concerts; another that keeps kids safe by installing temporary locking devices at child care centers and by making firearm safety an elective course for Michigan students. Two of the other notable new bills cut various red tape hindering farmers, brewers, auto repair businesses, and hunters — as well as one that helps Michiganders defend themselves from meritless free speech lawsuits.
