Voters in Marinette County are heading to the polls today for the spring primary election, with a key local race for the Marinette School Board on the ballot. Seven candidates are competing for three open seats on the board, each carrying a three-year term running from 2026 through 2029. The six candidates who receive the highest number of votes in today’s primary will advance to the April 7th general election. Voters may select up to three candidates on their ballot. Incumbents in the race include current board president Brian Ceranski, along with Rose O’Hara and Tom Faller. Challengers include Jamie Richardson, Cyndee Giebler, Justine M. Braatz, and Kurt Uecke.
