A new and growing music fund is opening doors for local grants and giving community members more ways to give back. The Marinette – Menominee Area Community Foundation says a newly established fund is already gaining traction and it’s expected to deliver thousands of dollars in grants each year. M&M Community Foundation Executive Director Ashley Berken says the fund was inspired by a donor who saw another effort in the community and wanted to make an impact in their own way.
Berken says community involvement is key—not just for donations, but for building long-term support. And for those looking to contribute, or even start their own fund, the process is open and accessible.
As for the impact—grant funding is expected to grow steadily over time.
Foundation leaders say that first year is just the beginning, with investment growth and additional donations expected to increase available funding year after year. For more information, or to donate, visit the foundation’s website at mmacf.org
