Forest Home Crypt Owners there are changes to the Brass Plant Policy

The Civic Affairs, Cemetery, Traffic and Lights Committee and the City of Marinette Council has established modified rules for Forest Home Cemetery and Mausoleum allowing memorial items to be placed on the front of the Crypt doors in the Mausoleum. Due to recent complaints from Crypt and Niche owners over the appearance of the memorial items it has prompted the City of Marinette to reconsider its Brass Plant Stand policy. The goal of the city is to offer alternatives for Crypt and Niche owners that will still allow them to place memorials in the mausoleum but they will have restrictions on them. The restrictions will also allow unobstructed cleaning, maintenance and entombment usage with the corridors of the Mausoleum. The City of Marinette is asking all owners of Plant Stands in the Mausoleum to please have the stands and any contents on the stands removed by April 1st. If they are not removed, the cemetery staff will store the stands and contents. After 60 days, the items will be discarded.
