Challenger Bob Juul will face off against incumbent Doug Oitzinger in the April 4th general election for the City of Marinette’s Common Council’s Ward 3 aldermanic seat. Juul says, “my business and accounting background will help a lot. I’ve been a resident since 1998 and I love this community, my kids have grown up in this community, and my hope is that my experience in this community can help bring to the forefront the actual issues that are important to the city, without any drama.”
Juul says, “the biggest thing I see is a lot of great things happening in the City of Marinette right now.”
Juul also states that the PFAS contamination is a problem that will require the efforts of all levels of government, as well as help from private industry, to come with solutions. Another important issue for Juul is the ongoing narcotic and meth problem that Marinette deals with on a daily basis. Bob has served on the Packerland Ford Dealers Advertising board, his church’s finance council, and Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy school board. Spring Election is April 4th.
