The 13th Annual Freezin’ 4 Reasons Homeless Awareness Event is taking place this Friday, March 31st. The purpose of the event is to create an awareness of the homelessness of families in our service area. Spiritual Advisor for the Youth and Young Vincentian’s Jeanne Harper says, “the kids will be begging on the streets so that the cars will stop.”
Harper says, “one of my youths stated that Freezin’ 4 Reasons is a real way for us to raise money and help the homeless people and homeless families in our communities.”
In 2022, despite the rain, Freezin’ 4 Reasons was able to raise over $6,200 for Homeless Awareness. This Friday, March 31st Freezin’ 4 Reasons will be begging from 3:15pm to 5:30pm on Main Street to Wells in Marinette. If you would like to donate but are unable to make it to the event, you can call 715-923-9549 or email scdpsjcmarinette@gmail.com.
