Around 3000 area customers of Wisconsin Public Service were without power for nearly two hours yesterday morning. The outage started about 5:30 and affected portions of the city of Marinette and the Town of Peshtigo. A spokesman for WPS said the outage resulted from, strong thunderstorms that moved through early in the morning.
