The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a public meeting on February 19th. The focus will be on inland trout management in Marinette and Oconto Counties. This meeting, one of a six-part series on fisheries management, will be held at the DNR Field Office in Peshtigo and available via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m. DNR Fisheries Biologist, Chip Long, will discuss trout stream classification, stocking, and site-specific data. He will share information about trout populations in the region and the importance of management strategies. Long will also discuss projects in Marinette and Oconto Counties.
