On Thursday, February 22nd at 8:57pm, Marinette County Dispatch received a 911 call for the report of a vehicle versus motorcycle accident near the intersection of Marinette Avenue and Cleveland Avenue, in the City of Marinette. On arrival, Officers, EMS personnel and Fire, located at 16-year-old male that was struck by a motor vehicle and immediately began to render aid. The male was transported to a nearby medical facility for where he was later pronounced deceased due to his injuries sustained in the accident.
Several agencies responded to the scene to assist including: The Marinette Police Department, Marinette Fire Department, Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area EMS personnel, Marinette Emergency Rescue Squad, Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office.
