The 3rd annual Local Hygiene and Cleaning Product Drive is going on now. 54 sites throughout the Tri-City area of Marinette, Menominee, and Peshtigo will be collecting personal hygiene and cleaning products for 12 local area crisis agencies, pantries, and shelters. All donations, including financial support, remain in the communities where collected. The goal of the drive is to supply a year’s worth of products to each participating agency. Volunteer Steve Peterich says, “here are some of the items that the shelters and pantries are requesting.”
Jeanne Harper Volunteer says, “Locally, in 2023, we collected donated products valued at over $19,000 from 37 donation sites. Last year, we collected over $17,000 worth of donated products which came from 42 collection sites and shared between local Co-Host/Sponsors of Marinette NEWCAP and St. Joseph St. Vincent DePaul Conference. NEWCAP dispersed their donations throughout their field offices.
In 2023 and 2024 St. Joseph St. Vincent DePaul donated their portion to seven local crisis agencies, pantries, and shelters. If you’d like a list of the donations sites you can text 715-923-9549. Donations will be accepted until March 16th.
