THE MARINETTE SCHOOL BOARD DISCUSSES GARFIELD SCHOOL

The Marinette School Board convened in a closed session to deliberate the future of Garfield School. Developer Alex Yanik from Anything You Want LLC. requested an extension on the property’s closing date, originally scheduled for March 26th. However, the date passed without any communication from Mr. Yanik. Last evening after a lengthy conversation in closed session the school board decided to take no action. The Marinette School District will keep community members informed as they continue to move forward.
