Trail at Picture Rocks National Lakeshore closed (MNN)

A popular trail in the U-P is closed because of a washout. The Munising Falls Trail, which features paved walkways within the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, suffered the damage on April 28th from the recent heavy rain and seasonal snow. They posted a photo on-line showing a 75-foot section that looked like a wood-pathway collapsed. They say travel in the area is strictly prohibited
