A Coleman man who was charged in connection with a fatal crash that killed an 8-month-old child was sentenced to three years in prison and 5 years extended supervision Thursday in Marinette Circuit Court. In February, 47- year- old Michael Galbraith entered a no contest plea to Homicide by Negligent Use of a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Vehicle with a Restricted Controlled Substance with a Minor Passenger Under 16. On October 8, 2023 deputies say Galbraith pulled out from a stop sign on Kamm Rd. at Highway 41 in the Town of Grover, hitting a vehicle driven by Cody Price of Oconto. Eight-month-old Alana Price riding in a child safety seat in the rear seat of the vehicle was airlifted to a hospital with injuries sustained in the crash and died four days later.
