A MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER STABBING IN MENOMINEE COUNTY

A man was arrested after a stabbing in Menominee County. Menominee County sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence in Daggett just before 11 p.m. on Friday, May 2^nd for a report of a stabbing in progress. Before deputies arrived, the suspect ran from the scene. The 24-year-old victim was assisted by emergency responders while multiple officers searched the area for the suspect. Around 11:19 p.m., the suspect, a 35-year-old Stephenson man, was found at an adjacent property and taken into custody. Authorities say this was an isolated incident that occurred between acquaintances.
