We’re rolling into the weekend with a 67% solunar activity rating and a solid forecast for anglers looking to take advantage of early summer patterns. River temperatures are rising slowly, now steady in the mid-60s—just right for a range of active fish behavior across the board.

Bite Report Highlights:
- Musky:Very good — cloudy days and recent rain boosted activity. Bucktails and topwater baits are producing.
- Bluegills:Very good — active on beds and biting just about everything.
- Smallmouth Bass:Good — guarding beds. Topwater bite is fun and productive.
- Largemouth Bass:Good — similar shallow structure pattern. Frogs, poppers, and plastics all getting attention.
- Northern Pike:Good — active in 6–10 ft weed beds. Spinnerbaits and chatterbaits working well.
- Walleye:Good to fair — slip floats with leeches working best. Some great evening casting action reported.
- Yellow Perch:Good to fair — try structure in 12–20 ft, mid-morning through midday.
- Crappie:Fair to good — look for them just off spawn zones in nearby weeds.
