MENOMINEE’S FORMER MAYOR PRESENTED A FORMAL COMPLAINT AT LAST NIGHT’S CITY COUNCIL MEETING OVER REMARKS BY THE CURRENT MAYOR IN A RECENT NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

Stegeman left the podium and walked to the front of the council. To her right is Mayor Hoffman, as she stands in front of City Manager Brett Botbyl and hands him her complaint against Menominee Mayor Casey Hoffman.

In the June 6th  Eagle-Herald Article, Hoffman blamed the Stegeman administration for the high number of cannabis dispensaries in the city. He said what he called the “Stegeman Zoning Map, ” allows for between 10 and 13 dispensaries to be on the main drag in Menominee.
