The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region reminds motorists that construction begins Monday to improve 1.45 miles of U.S. 141 in the Village of Crivitz from Owl Lane to the South Junction of Old Highway 141. They expect to complete the $1.94 million construction contract by mid-October this year. U.S. 141 will remain open during work, except for a five-day closure for railroad work.
This project will convert the existing four-lane roadway through Crivitz to a three-lane roadway with two-way left turn lane. Other work includes roadway resurfacing, intersection improvements at U.S. 141/County Trunk W and at Old Hwy 141 and U.S. 141, and railroad crossing work,
