In Menominee Township, a tragic crash has claimed the lives of a father and his young daughter. Authorities have identified the victims as 38-year-old Todd M. Bronold and his 23-month-old daughter, Palmer Bronold. The two were involved in a collision between a pickup truck and a semi-tanker on State Highway M-35. Sheriff Darrin Kudwa reported that Todd was pronounced dead at the scene. Palmer, critically injured, was airlifted to a Milwaukee hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Although the family’s exact residence is not listed, an obituary notes Todd was an Appleton native, living in Marinette and working at Fincantieri Marinette Marine. Palmer was just days away from her second birthday. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with Michigan State Police assisting in the accident reconstruction. Our deepest condolences go out to the Bronold family during this heartbreaking time.
Funeral services for Todd and Palmer will be held on Wednesday afternoon at Emmanual Lutherean Church in Menominee.
A Go Fund Me page has been established for the Bronold family. Over $43,000 has been raised so far.
