A Marinette man will spend decades behind bars for his role in a deadly stabbing two years ago. 40-year-old Joseph Poore was sentenced last week in Brown County Court to 30 years in prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision. He had pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of reckless homicide in the death of 33-year-old Robert Marshall. Investigators say the stabbing happened in 2023 during a dispute over drugs. Poore was arrested along with 33-year-old Aaron Walton, who prosecutors say was also involved in the killing. Walton is charged with first-degree reckless homicide and is scheduled to appear in court in September.
