Starting September 1st, it is now illegal to sell any electronic vaping device in Wisconsin that isn’t listed on the state’s official Electronic Vaping Device Directory. Right now, 216 products are included on that list. Devices that contain hemp but no nicotine won’t need to be listed until July 1st, 2026. Retailers and manufacturers who sell unlisted products could face fines of one thousand dollars per day for each device. Those products can also be seized. The Department of Revenue is required by law to keep the vaping device directory public, under state statute.
