Early this morning the Marinette and Menominee fire departments dispatched for a structure fire at First Trinity Church on Wells Street in Marinette.

Upon arrival smoke and flames were visible along the ridge line of the roof.

First arriving crews made an aggressive interior attack and began gaining access to the attic space.

All off duty Marinette personnel were recalled and engine units and chiefs from the Town of Peshtigo and city of Peshtigo were called in to assist.

Fire crews were on scene approximately two hours.
