Drivers in downtown Marinette should plan for a closure next week at the intersection of Wells Street and Main Street. The intersection will be closed from October 13th through October 20th to replace the crosswalks. Most of the construction work will happen early in the week, with the rest of the closure allowing the new concrete to properly cure before reopening to traffic. Message boards will go up starting tomorrow to alert drivers, and a marked detour will be in place to help motorists navigate around the closure.
